Common faults and analysis of self-cleaning filters

Fault 1: Water leakage
The problem of water leakage generally occurs in the drive shaft of the filter (the water leakage of the cylinder body and the flange welding part is not within this range).
There are basically two reasons for this problem, as follows:
1. The material or specification of the sealing ring of the transmission shaft does not meet the requirements, so replace the sealing ring that meets the requirements.
2. The second is that the sealing ring wears out after a long time of operation, which causes the sealing between the transmission shaft and the filter body to be inadequate and leaks. In this case, replacing the sealing ring of the corresponding specification can solve the problem.


Fault 2: Failure of automatic drain valve
The specific performance is that the drain valve does not move during automatic cleaning or the drain valve cannot be opened and cannot be closed.
1. When this kind of problem occurs, the domestic solenoid valve is generally used. This solenoid valve is pilot-operated. The pilot hole is first opened by the electromagnet, and then the diaphragm is opened by the pressure of the water in the system.
2. Since the sewage contains many impurities, it is very easy to block the pilot hole, causing the solenoid valve to not operate or to be closed after being opened.
3. The use of electric ball valve or hydraulic solenoid valve as the drain valve completely solves the problem that ordinary solenoid valve as a self-cleaning filter and automatic drain valve are prone to failure.

Fault 3: Self-cleaning control system failure
Frequent start-up causes the increase in the amount of cleaning water and shortens the life of the filter.
1. This kind of problem is generally caused by the parameter setting of the filter not conforming to the working condition.
2. This is mainly the problem of the cleaning pressure difference and cleaning time interval set by the pressure difference controller. Frequent startup of the filter cleaning system can generally solve the control system problem by setting a larger pressure difference value and time interval.
The self-cleaning filter does not need to be maintained without problems. In fact, the self-cleaning filter needs to be maintained and overhauled regularly.
