Lefilter's eighth edition of the 53-kilometer cross-country hiking race concluded with resounding success!

On January 6, 2024, after a two-year delay, Lefilter successfully hosted its eighth 53-kilometer cross-country hiking race. This event took place on the occasion of the winter solstice, symbolizing the birth of new beginnings as the year turns. A total of 387 participants from the group headquarters, Xinxiang production plant, Shangqiu production plant, and Zhengzhou branch embarked on the journey from Nantianmen of Yunmeng Mountain promptly at 7:00 am.

The participants were divided into 10 groups, each consisting of 30-38 individuals. To ensure a safe start, Chairman An Qi led the entire team in pre-race warm-up exercises. With a crisp command, the long-distance runners set off like a dragon, carrying the hopes and aspirations for the New Year, proudly holding red flags and banners, and courageously advancing towards the finish line with high spirits.

The route provided an opportunity to traverse vast landscapes, breathe in the fresh air, and encounter both scenic beauty and challenges. Every step on the undulating tracks, through mountains and forests, was marked by sweat and left an imprint. These footprints became testaments of the participants' determination and perseverance.

At the halfway point, they encouraged themselves not to give up. In the middle and final stages of the journey, they gritted their teeth, persevered, took 5-minute rests, and kept pushing forward. With only a few kilometers left, they reminded themselves that the next resting point was just ahead and that they would soon reach it. Conquering 30 kilometers and spurred by unwavering energy, they pressed on to overcome the 45-kilometer mark. The strength of the team empowered everyone to persevere together. As they rushed towards the finish line, they held hands, united in spirit, refusing to abandon or give up. Crossing the finish line, they acknowledged the worthiness of their endeavors, whether it was the breathtaking scenery witnessed along the way or the unwavering determination never to surrender. Regardless of rankings, everyone cherished their personal achievements in this exhilarating cross-country race.

Furthermore, the participants traveled to Yunmeng Mountain, searching for Guiguzi, an ancient wise figure. They sought to learn from the wisdom of the past and set sail for the year 2024. Guiguzi, also known as Mr. Gui Gu, possessed profound knowledge in politics, diplomacy, strategy, Taoism, the art of war, and various other fields. The exploration of Guigu culture, including landmarks such as the Thirty-Six Strategies Cultural Wall, Yanbing Ridge, Sun Pang Game Platform, and Guigu Zhisheng Corridor, allowed participants to delve into history, experience the culture firsthand, and integrate knowledge with action.
