When the resin absorbs a certain amount of calcium and magnesium ions, it must be regenerated. The regeneration process is to rinse with salt water in the salt box. In the resin layer, the calcium and magnesium ions on the resin are replaced again and discharged out of the tank with the regenerated waste liquid. At this time, the resin resumes its softening and exchange function. In this process, by removing the calcium and magnesium ions in the water, the water hardness is reduced, and the product produced is guaranteed to be bright in color and soft in texture.
