How to choose a security water filter? The main basis for choosing a security filter is based on its material and application field. The security filter uses a filter element filtration method. Under a certain pressure, the original liquid will pass through the filter material. The filter residue will be trapped on the pipe wall, and the filtered liquid will flow out of the filter element, so as to achieve the purpose of filtration. The security filter is mainly used in the preliminary pretreatment of the reverse osmosis membrane device to effectively intercept some impurities. Protect the reverse osmosis membrane from harm. Security filter selection basis:
1. Filter material: The material of the filter is generally the same as the material of the connected process pipeline. For different service conditions, you can consider choosing a filter made of cast iron, carbon steel, low alloy steel or stainless steel;
2. Inlet and outlet diameter: In principle, the inlet and outlet diameter of the filter is not less than the inlet diameter of the matching pump, and it is generally the same as the diameter of the inlet pipeline;
3. Calculation of the resistance loss of the filter: The pressure loss of the filter for water is 0.52-1.2kpa under the rated flow rate of general calculation;
4. Selection of the number of holes: The main consideration is the particle size of the impurities that need to be intercepted, which is formulated according to the process requirements of the medium process. The size of the particle size that can be intercepted by various specifications of wire mesh is different;
5. Nominal pressure: Determine the pressure level of the filter according to the highest pressure that may appear on the filter pipeline

Security filter material:
When we choose the material of the security filter, we need to decide whether to use carbon steel or stainless steel according to the needs of the production industry. The commonly used stainless steel is made of 304 or 316L, and the two cannot be directly equivalent to food-grade stainless steel, so before buying, you need to communicate clearly with the manufacturer in advance to avoid affecting subsequent use

Security filter element material:
