A high-volume beverage bottling plant in Guadalajara uses 280 m³/h of recycled process water for bottle-washer pre-rinsing and crate cleaning lines.
The recycled water accumulates bottle labels, paper pulp fragments, glass micro-shards, and ambient dust ($TSS \approx 120\text{ mg/L}$).
The plant's legacy static strainers blinded rapidly under label paper pulp loads. Operators frequently bypassed the strainers during peak shifts, allowing paper pulp and glass micro-shards into bottle-washing spray nozzles.
Clogged nozzles left residues inside returned crates, failing quality control checks and wasting thousands of liters of treated wash water daily.
LEFILTER integrated an LF-X-300 Automatic Rotary Brush Self-Cleaning Filter into the recirculation loop:
Rotary Stainless Steel Brushes: Internal stainless steel bristle brushes rotate along the inner surface of a 150 $\mu\text{m}$ heavy-gauge screen, sweeping soft paper pulp and label debris off the mesh.
Simple, Robust Mechanical Drive: Driven by a top-mounted 0.37 kW gear motor, providing high mechanical torque to clear fibrous paper buildup.
Automated Flush Cycles: Controlled by a compact PLC panel that triggers a 15-second flush based on differential pressure ($\Delta P = 0.05\text{ MPa}$) or an adjustable timer (default: every 4 hours).

Quality Audit Success: Crate washer spray nozzle blockages were eliminated, restoring 100% washing coverage and passing all internal quality assurance audits.
Water Conservation: Allowed the plant to safely recycle 95% of its crate-washing water stream, saving ~42,000 m³ of fresh municipal water per year.
Low Maintenance: Required only 15 minutes of visual inspection per week, freeing site technicians for core packaging line maintenance.
